Call For Emergency Funding

For years, we have lived with escalating legislative, cultural, and personal attacks on our community.

Yet, LGBTQ+ survival has never been accidental. Every right we hold, every space we claim, has been won by showing up for one another in moments exactly like the one we’re currently in.

PFund believes the violence and trauma of this moment deserves an urgent response, while facing a hard truth: the same violent animus targeting our undocumented neighbors has the greater LGBTQ+ community directly in its path. History shows us, however, that when our community recognizes a threat early and acts together, we protect lives and change outcomes.

Emergency Fund Goal: $2,000,000

PFund Foundation is raising an emergency fund to support frontline community organizations, queer civic engagement, and defend access to gender-affirming care.

PFund is our community’s best vehicle to collectively pool our resources in order to maximize our power and impact.

Right now, our communities are confronting an unprecedented convergence of threats:

  • Erosion of fundamental rights through coordinated legislative, judicial, and administrative attacks targeting LGBTQ+ existence

  • Communities being terrorized by a federal government that relies on intimidation, secrecy, and lies.

  • An ideological movement that is explicit about its goal: our erasure from public life, from law, from education, from healthcare, and from one another.

These threats are real. But so is our collective strength.
