Readiness & Resilience Campaign

This is our “Break Glass in Case of Emergency” moment, and you are needed.

Right now our communities are facing an unprecedented convergence of threats:

Erosion of fundamental rights through coordinated legislative, judicial, and administrative attacks targeting LGBTQ+ existence, especially trans and gender-expansive people.

Communities being terrorized by masked federal agents and emboldened enforcement actions that rely on intimidation, secrecy, and impunity.

An ideological movement that is explicit about its goal: our erasure from public life, from law, from education, from healthcare, and from one another.

OUR CALL TO ACTION

We must protect the fabric of our community: our youth, our businesses, our gatherings, and the frontline organizations defending our lives and our rights.

PFund is our community’s best vehicle to collectively pool our resources in order to maximize our power and impact. PFund Foundation, born out of the AIDS crisis and developed through communal resilience, was created for moments like this.

Give Now

We are raising an additional $2,000,000 in rapidly-deployed, community-centered emergency funds for:

$500,000 Toward Immediate Increased Grant-Making for LGBTQ+ Organizations

Our community is an ecosystem, hundreds of nonprofits, mutual aid efforts, events, and businesses that together make up our collective strength. They are overwhelmed by surging demand for safety, legal aid, housing support, mental health care, and rapid-response resources. When one part weakens, all of us feel it. The Twin Cities is the frontline, but this attack on our community and the escalation of threats is spreading.

We aim to flood our community with resources via PFund Community Grants by February 26, 2026.

$500,000 Toward The Defense of Democracy

Democracy is being intentionally dismantled, and LGBTQ+ people are early targets. This is not the moment for symbolic support. It is the moment for decisive investment to confront a coordinated campaign of erasure and defend the systems that keep our communities alive.

PFund will award $100,000 grants to LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations in each of our five states that are coordinating voter mobilization efforts.

$1,000,000 Toward Saving Gender Affirming Healthcare

The Federal Government is attempting to end all gender-affirming care in the US by making hospitals choose between receiving Medicaid Reimbursements for low-income patients or offering trans-healthcare. To save this access, and literal lives, our response must be philanthropic in the short-term and raise and disperse at least $1,000,000.

PFund will provide direct funding to care systems still offering gender-affirming treatments.
