LGBTQ+ Issue Briefing for the Upper Midwest

For 38 years PFund has been supporting LGBTQ+ organizations, entrepreneurs, and scholars in the Upper Midwest through community-led grant-making and scholarships. PFund is the only LGBTQ+ foundation serving the Upper Midwest, last year awarded $993,250 in funding, and is proud to act as resource, subject matter expert, and liaison to our community foundation partners.

Funding cuts, political attacks, limited representation and access to traditional resources have contributed to a challenging environment for LGBTQ+ populations in the Upper Midwest. PFund’s goal is to empower communities with greater access to opportunities and an enhanced quality of life across five key domains: Education & Leadership, Economic Empowerment, Holistic Health, Vibrance & Community, and Visibility and Advocacy.

PFund will be releasing a minimum of two and a maximum of four LGBTQ+ Issue Briefings concerning communities in the Upper Midwest each year. Sign-up here to receive notifications of upcoming issue briefings.

Issue briefings will cover topics including:

  • Education & Advocacy

  • Economic Empowerment

  • Holistic Health

  • Vibrancy & Community
